here is my story
Hi, This is Coach Bill Bryan, I wanted to share with you my personal experience with Take Shape for Life. April of 2006 I was involved in a severe motorcycle accident. I suffered a Sprung Pelvis that required two reconstructive surgeries and 4 months of bed rest. The healing process left me in a very poor physical state. The muscle I had lost due to my sedatary condition was replaced with fat. I have always had a proactive mindset and realized that this extra weight was only going to compound the internal dammage for the rest of my life. In addition to this there is a family history of diabetes, heart disease and obesity. I realized something had to happen but with my condition, I was lost. I could not excercise, How was I going to lose the weight? October 2006, I was introduced to Take Shape for Life by my Health Care Professional and actually started while in crutches. The first month I released 18 pounds. The second month I released another 16 pounds and proceeded to release 50 pounds in 3 1/2 months. To me this was monumental due to the fact I had limited mobility. So much for our preconditioned belief to losing weight requires exercise. Take Shape for Life enabled me to reduce my exposure to disease and the compounding problem to the my internal damage. It has been 3 years since I had released my 50 pounds. I have incorporated the life style lessons, learned from the Habits of Health system into my daily life. This is the reason that I have not regained my weight.
